Pateints' Welfare Association

In addition to government initiatives, a hospital affiliated to each hospital has a voluntary organization registered under the law for strengthening the social services of the hospital in order to engage private enterprises.Registered under section 46 of the organization 'Voluntary Social Welfare Organization (Registration and Regulation) Ordinance' in 1961.Registered associations mainly provide counseling for the funding of patient welfare associations and for improving the quality of services, to provide financial support to the patients, including overall support to the hospital social services program. 518 patients welfare associations have been registered.
